Did you get some info. regarding the past event Montana Beerfest in Bozeman , it was April 10
People Choice Award Winners:
1st Place-Flathead Lake Brewing Co.-Rising Sun Espresso Porter
2nd Place-Quarry Brewing-Open Pit Porter
3rd Place-Carters Brewing-Black Magic Porter
We will be also participating in the Missoula Garden City Brewfest on May 2. We would love to bring you a growler of our new seasonal beer. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for the shout out on your ‘Top beers of 2008.’ We are pouring Old Stache No. 9 Whiskey Barrel Aged Porter right now! We wanted to be sure you were able to get your lips on some this year. We are hosting a brewers dinner on March 11th at 6pm here at the brewery in Lakeside. My partners and I have set aside two tix for you and a friend. Always enjoy your site. I think you should write something about the Montana Brewers Association (MBA). It has recently changed names (from MT State Brewers Assc.) and hired an Executive Director. Hey, Tim. I’m on my way to Missoula for a few days during my mid-tour leave from Iraq and I wondered if you could recommend a few “don’t miss” brews for me to try during my trip. I am a budding beer enthusiast (or was before I left for Iraq) and I’d like to freshen up on my skills a little while I’m home. I’m a big fan of Fall and Winter Seasonal Ales and a good Amber Ale. Can you help me out? Thanks!
