If light, Belgian-style wits are your thing, Kettlehouse Brewing Company has a beer for you. It pours up like a gaudy, orange biscuit, and it tastes really good. Which is good, because it’s made with sorghum instead of barley, which means it’s nearly gluten free. In all probability, it is gluten free, but with so many bad allergies out there, it’s better to call it reduced gluten beer.

Orange flavors dominate this beer, but it has a nice light body that holds the character after which the beer was fashioned really well.

My wife enjoyed one last night, and she said she thought it was a really good beer she could enjoy often. Neither of us have a gluten allergy, but it’s nice to know there are substitutes out there. I have several friends who have gluten allergies, and they’ve been asking me for recommendations for good gluten-free beer for quite some time.

To my friends: Kettlehouse has a great reduced gluten beer that would definitely be worth a try.
