Beer Advocate’s List of All-Time Top Breweries
I saw this on Stone Brewing Co.’s Facebook page. While it’s quite an honor for Stone, it’s also an interesting look at some of America’s most innovative breweries. It’s also interesting to not which breweries are not on this list.

I really respect the guys at beer advocate and IMO they know more about good beer than anyone. Probably the best beer info experts in the world. All these brewery are top tier. Glad to see Great Lakes on there as well as the recently underrated Sierra nevada. I’d like to see a top 25 list so other worthy American craft breweries can be recognized. Founders, Bell’s, Rogue, Dogfish head, etc.
How is this list made? What is the criteria for getting there? Sales? Overall BA ratings? Its an interesting list, I’m just curious how it was determined by them.

Makes me proud that Stone is where our brewer honed his craft.
