Damn the Torpedo
Anybody seen this in Missoula? It hasn’t crossed my radar yet, though I know it was released widely back in January.
Apparently this is Sierra Nevada’s first mainline release in 28 years.

It’s all over the place dude. I’ve bought a couple of sixers at Worden’s and I just saw it on the shelves last night at Griz Groc. Cheers.
Not even in Missoula yet? And I was hoping to see it in Billings soon.
I’ve not seen that one yet (in the Phoenix area) but I’ll check the local outlets this weekend and report back! Looks promising!
I did try the Torpedo – probably from Worden’s.
It was good, although I was expecting a little more ‘extra’ from an ‘extra IPA’. I’ve been more pleased with their ‘Early Spring’ ESB.
Personally, I was disapointed with the ESB……..but given the timing of that release, it makes “cents” to relase a “lightly hopped” beer versus the IPA, because of the then recent hike in hop prices…….I thoght an ESB was supposed to be estra-specially-bitter?
I would love to see ANY Sierra Nevada here in SE KS. Ah, well. Haven’t had a single beer since moving here in November. Sigh.
